॥ About Sammed Shikharji ॥

The holiest Jain tirtha

Sammed Shikharji — atop Parasnath Hills in Jharkhand — is the most revered Jain pilgrimage site. 20 of the 24 Tirthankaras, including Bhagwan Parshvanath, attained moksha here. Every devout Jain aspires to complete this yatra at least once.

The 27 km round-trip yatra begins from Madhuban at the base of the hill. Along the route lie the sacred tonks (chhotries) of each Tirthankara. Our dharamshala is perfectly located for pilgrims — 5 km from the yatra start point.
